Become a Member
We welcome any person to become a member of the Benton Park
Neighborhood Association.
Members help fund
the neighborhood association, which in recent months has sponsored
the following activities:

Provides
financial support to offset costs of neighborhood events like
the 4th of July Celebration, fall festival,
general meetings, and others. |
 |
Provides
finances to the neighborhood promotions like street banners and
neighborhood markers. |
 |
Provides
support for our gardening committee to plant new flowers and
trees and to help maintain the parks. |
 |
Provides
support for the neighborhood watch program and an active
participation with law enforcement to improve safety and their
presence in Benton Park. |
 |
Provides
support for an organization strengthens our community by
bringing folks together in informal and formal settings to meet
each other and talk about issues we all care about. |
 |
Provides
financial support for the neighborhood’s newspaper and website. |

Did you know that we
have not had a rate increase on dues since 1995?
In 1986: Dues started out at $5.00
In 1995: it was changed to $20.00 & $5.00 Seniors
In regards to just basic inflation: What cost $20.00 in 1995 would
cost
$26.71 in 2007.
